Universal water based deck adhesive

Product Description

This water-based adhesive is to be used as the main area adhesive to bond the rubber to the flat deck only.

Approximate coverage of this product is:

• 5 litres cover approx. 20–22m2
• 2.5 litres cover approx. 10–12m2

This high-strength Universal Water-Based Deck Adhesive is specifically designed for use with EPDM rubber roofing membranes, bonding the rubber roofing to a range of conventional timber flat deck surfaces. Water-Based Adhesive is designed to be roller applied to flat roofing surfaces.

All timber boards should not be sealed with adhesive repellent wax or any other non-absorbent system but should be resistant to moisture for it to be suitable for roofing installation. If in doubt as to whether you have suitable flat roofing supplies, a small test area should be laid before proceeding.

Some roofing supplies and surfaces may not be suitable for use with this Water-Based Adhesive – for example, non-porous decks and those with low vapour permeability, such as existing GRP or metal.
